Overview

The North Coast Builders Exchange Insurance Trust program offers our member firms medical plans through two top-rated insurance carriers.

Kaiser Permanente is the oldest, most experienced non-profit HMO in the country. Among the most respected health care companies in California, Health net offers an extensive network of more than 48,000 physicians, 750 physician group locations, and 4,600 pharmacies.

Flexibility

Your company selects the plans that are offered to owners/employees, complying with group requirements and carrier policies. Owners/employees are not required to all be enrolled in the same medical plan.

Enrollment Requirements

For firms of 3 or more eligible employees, 75% must enroll in medical and if Health Net and Kaiser are selected, 60% - 70% (dependent on plan selected) minimum enrollment in Health Net is required.

For 1 and 2 person firms, 100% enrollment is required in a medical plan. Additionally, firms with 2 or fewer enrolling subscribers have limited plan choices which include; Kaiser 20, Kaiser 30, Kaiser 50 and Kaiser 30/1000, 0/1500, HSA 0/2200; Health Net HMO 40 and HSA 3500.
