Plus & Voluntary Dental Plans
The MetLife Savings Plus Dental Plan is designed to provide the features of a PPO at a price comparable to other lower-cost dental benefit programs. The plan covers a full range of services and provides the greatest value when members receive services from a participating PDP dentist. This plan provides very limited benefits when utilizing Out-of Network providers.
For firms of 1-5 a 100% of all eligible employees must enroll.
For firms of 6 or more enrolled employees, a minimum of 75%
is required to enroll, this also offers a discounted rate.
Starting
July of 2009, MetLife offers a “Voluntary” Dental
plan which allows employees to purchase coverage through their
employer using their payroll deduction.
